My Journey: From Dailekh to Software Developer in Nepal
I grew up in Narayan-2, Dailekh β a quiet hilly district in western Nepal. Computers were rare, but the few I used sparked a curiosity that never faded.
The first website
My first website was a single HTML page with a marquee tag and bright colors. It taught me the most important lesson: I could build things with code.
Choosing BSc CSIT at Mid-West University
Moving to Kathmandu for my degree gave me structure β data structures, databases, operating systems β while personal projects gave me momentum. Balancing both taught me discipline.
What I learned along the way
- Build in public. Sharing on GitHub keeps me accountable.
- Learn by doing. Courses guide, projects teach.
- Stay curious. Every framework is easier once you know the fundamentals.
My goal is to become one of Nepal's leading software engineers and contribute to global products. If you are on a similar path, keep going β consistency beats talent.
